NeuroRester Corp. (“NeuroRester,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how the NeuroRester mobile application (“NeuroRester App” or “App”) collects, accesses, uses, transmits, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use our products and services.

This Privacy Policy also explains how NeuroRester handles health and fitness information that you choose to authorize through supported health platforms, including Google Health Connect and Apple Health.

Information We Collect

We collect only information reasonably necessary to provide and maintain NeuroRester features that you choose to use.

Depending on the features you use, we may collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

This may include:

Email address
Password or authentication information
Profile information voluntarily provided by you

We use this information to create and manage your account, authenticate you, provide customer support, and maintain account security.

Device and Technical Information

We may collect:

Device serial number
Operating system and version
App version
IP address
Network information
Device identifiers where permitted
Diagnostic and error information
Bluetooth-related connection information necessary to communicate with NeuroRester devices

We use this information to maintain App functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, improve stability, connect compatible devices, and protect service security.

Health and Fitness Information

Health and fitness information is treated as sensitive personal information.

NeuroRester accesses health and fitness data only after you choose to enable the relevant feature and grant the necessary permissions.

Health-data integration is optional. If you choose not to grant access, or later revoke access, you may continue to use NeuroRester features that do not depend on the requested health information.

Google Health Connect

3.1 Why NeuroRester Uses Health Connect

With your explicit authorization, NeuroRester may access health and fitness information from Google Health Connect so that you can synchronize and view your health and wellness information inside the NeuroRester App.

NeuroRester uses this information to provide user-facing features such as:

Daily health-data display
Sleep trend display
Heart-rate trend display
Heart-rate variability trend display
Activity trend display
Historical health-data charts
General wellness and recovery-related trend information

Google allows Health Connect access for appropriate health and wellness use cases, but requires developers to limit access to the minimum data necessary for the App's user-facing functionality. Google Help

3.2 Health Connect Data We Access

Depending on the permissions you choose to grant, NeuroRester may read the following Health Connect data:

Heart Rate
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
Sleep
Sleep Stages, where available, including:

Awake
REM
Core/Light Sleep
Deep Sleep

Steps
Floors Climbed

These data categories correspond to features displayed within the NeuroRester Health Data section.

Health Connect supports dedicated data types for heart rate, HRV, steps, floors climbed, and sleep-related information. Android Developers

NeuroRester will request only the permissions necessary to provide the applicable features.

How We Use Health Connect Data

Health Connect data is used only to provide and support NeuroRester's health and general wellness functionality.

We may use authorized health information to:

Display your current and historical health information;
Generate daily, weekly, monthly, six-month, and yearly trend views;
Display sleep duration and sleep-stage information;
Display heart-rate trends;
Display heart-rate variability trends;
Display step-count information;
Display floors-climbed information;
Synchronize authorized health information with your NeuroRester account;
Provide personalized general-wellness insights and trend information;
Maintain and improve the health-data functionality you choose to use.

NeuroRester does not use Health Connect information for purposes unrelated to the functionality disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

Transmission and Storage of Health Data

When you authorize NeuroRester to synchronize health information, relevant health and fitness data may be securely transmitted from your device to NeuroRester's cloud infrastructure.

NeuroRester uses Google Cloud infrastructure to support cloud-based storage and processing of authorized health information.

Health information transmitted between your device and NeuroRester systems is protected using secure encrypted communication protocols, such as HTTPS/TLS.

Stored health information is subject to technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect it against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

Access to stored health information is restricted to authorized systems and personnel where access is necessary to operate, maintain, secure, or support the NeuroRester service.

Google requires applications handling Health Connect information to protect sensitive user data and use modern cryptography during transmission. Google Help

Health Data Retention

We retain synchronized health and fitness information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the NeuroRester functionality requested by you, maintain your account, comply with applicable legal requirements, and protect service security.

When health information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable requirements.

Revoking Health Connect permission prevents NeuroRester from obtaining additional data through the revoked permission.

However, revoking Health Connect permission does not automatically delete copies of health information that were previously synchronized with NeuroRester's servers.

You may separately request deletion of previously synchronized health data or delete your NeuroRester account as described below.

Google similarly explains that connected apps may retain copies of data already shared with them even after Health Connect access changes. Google Help

Managing Health Connect Permissions

You control whether NeuroRester may access Health Connect information.

You may review, change, or revoke NeuroRester's Health Connect permissions at any time through Android Health Connect settings.

Depending on your Android version, this may generally be accessed through:

Settings → Health Connect → App permissions → NeuroRester

You may choose which available health-data categories NeuroRester is permitted to access.

Revoking permission will stop future access to the applicable Health Connect data.

Restrictions on Use of Health Data

NeuroRester does not:

Sell Health Connect data;
Rent Health Connect data;
Use Health Connect data for targeted advertising;
Use health information to create advertising profiles;
Transfer health data to advertising networks;
Transfer health data to data brokers;
Use health information for credit decisions;
Use health information for employment decisions;
Use health information for insurance underwriting decisions;
Make Health Connect data publicly available;
Use Health Connect data for undisclosed purposes.

We will not share Health Connect information with unrelated third parties unless:

You explicitly request or authorize the sharing;
Sharing is necessary to provide a feature you requested and is permitted under applicable law and platform policies; or
Disclosure is required by applicable law.

Google's current Health Connect policy prohibits inappropriate secondary uses and requires access to remain limited to the minimum necessary scope. Google Help

Apple Health

If you choose to connect NeuroRester with Apple Health, NeuroRester may request permission to access supported health and fitness information, including:

Heart rate
Heart rate variability
Sleep information
Sleep-stage information, where available
Step count
Floors climbed or related activity information

Authorized Apple Health information is used to display personal health and wellness trends and related visualizations in the NeuroRester App.

Apple Health information is not used for targeted advertising or advertising profiling.

You may revoke NeuroRester's Apple Health permissions through your Apple device settings.

How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose limited personal information to service providers when necessary to operate NeuroRester.

These providers may support:

Cloud hosting and storage
Application infrastructure
Authentication
Customer support
Notifications
App security
Technical maintenance

For example, NeuroRester uses Google Cloud infrastructure for cloud-based application services and data storage.

Service providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to NeuroRester and subject to applicable contractual, privacy, and security obligations.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

Location, Camera, Bluetooth, and Notifications

Depending on the NeuroRester features you use, the App may request access to certain device capabilities.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth may be used to:

Discover compatible NeuroRester devices;
Connect devices to the App;
Synchronize device settings or information.

Camera

Camera permission may be requested when necessary for functions such as scanning supported codes or uploading images.

Notifications

Notification permission may be used for App reminders, device reminders, account notices, or service-related notifications.

Location

If a NeuroRester feature requires location permission, we will request it before accessing location information.

We will not intentionally request device permissions that are unnecessary for available NeuroRester functionality.

Third-Party Services

NeuroRester may integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or service providers necessary to operate App functionality.

Third-party services may maintain their own privacy policies.

NeuroRester does not authorize third-party providers to use Health Connect or Apple Health information for advertising purposes.

Data Security

Data Retention

You may manage device permissions through the operating-system settings on your mobile device.

Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your NeuroRester account within the NeuroRester App.

The account-deletion process is:

Open the NeuroRester App.
Go to Profile.
Select More.
Select Delete Account.
Review the deletion information.
Select Confirm Deletion.

When your account is deleted, NeuroRester will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account, including synchronized health information, except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

You may also contact NeuroRester to request deletion of personal information or previously synchronized health information.

Deleting or revoking data in Health Connect alone may not automatically delete information previously synchronized to NeuroRester. A separate deletion request or NeuroRester account deletion may therefore be required.

General Wellness Disclaimer

NeuroRester and the health information displayed within the App are intended solely for general wellness, fitness tracking, and personal informational purposes.

NeuroRester does not provide:

Medical diagnosis;
Medical treatment;
Clinical diagnosis or interpretation;
Medical advice;
Emergency medical services.

Health and fitness information displayed in the NeuroRester App should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have questions or concerns regarding a medical condition, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Children's Privacy

NeuroRester is not intended for use by children where such use would violate applicable age requirements.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization where parental or guardian consent is legally required.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected in violation of applicable children's privacy requirements, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Data Processing

Depending on your location, personal information may be stored or processed in countries or regions other than your country of residence.

Where required, we take appropriate measures to protect transferred personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
